A gorgeous vintage 1960s made in USA Whiting and Davis mesh purse. The purse features black mesh accented randomly with streaks of gold, silver & red mesh and sprinkled with colorful round faceted rhinestone jewels. The backside has colorful mesh streaks with no rhinestones. The long gold-tone chain can be folded into the interior to convert it into a clutch. The gold-tone chain has a 25" drop.
The Art Deco style multi-colored rhinestone clasp lifts up to open the mesh bag, and down to close it securely. The interior is lined with a gold ribbed fabric with the "Whiting and Davis T.M." signature. There is one zip pocket in the interior and a tag that reads "Whiting and Davis T.M Made in U.S.A.". Measurements are approximately 8 1/4" L x 5 1/4" H.
The mesh bag / purse is in excellent vintage condition.
