Vintage 1960s / 1970s classic pocketbook style sturdy leather and wood purse handmade in Columbia. The purse is made with 1" H blond wood slats sewn with contrasting black thread into black leather sides. The black leather sides are unlined. The sturdy black leather handles are set in long wooden blocks and have an 8 1/2" drop. There are four brass feet on the bottom corners of the purse to protect it from contact with surfaces.
The brass turnlock closure keeps the purse closed securely. The interior of the purse is lined in a beige chamois fabric. The interior has one open pocket and a label that reads "Arte a Mano Genuine Leather Made in Columbia". Measurements are approximately 10" L x 11" H x 4 1/2" W.
The interior shows signs of use, but is otherwise in very good condition. There are light scratches on the wood from use. See photos for details.
