A charming petite 1930s Art Deco habillé cameo brooch featuring a pressed white milk glass cameo lady wearing a faux diamond necklace. The white cameo is contrasted nicely by the painted jade green background. The brooch is small and measures approximately 1" x 1".
The cameo is set securely with a four prong setting into a brass frame with lovely Art Deco hobnail and fleur-de-Lis details. The frame has a few tiny remnants of silver-plating, which isn't noticeable except under high magnification. The backside has an old stickpin with an open c-hook that works very well to hold the brooch securely in place.
The green color has worn off in some areas, and overlaps on the tips of the hair. See photos for details.
