A spectacular antique Art Deco 1920s glass-beaded flapper purse. The purse features colorfully beaded Art Deco designs in shades of blue, fuchsia, pink, purple, gray, outlined with black jet glass beads, and trimmed with dangling black jet glass fringe.
The pot metal frame has an ornate repoussé design, and an attached paperclip chain handle with a 6 1/4" drop. The frame closes securely with a ball that snaps into an ornate clasp. It's lined in navy ribbed cotton fabric. The purse measures approximately 6 1/2" L x 5 1/2" W.
The navy cotton lining is in good condition, but could use a little cleaning. There are beads missing sporadically. The pot metal frame and paperclip chain have wear and discoloration from age. See photos for details.
