Rare antique Victorian heavy shimmering micro-beaded black jet glass mourning reticule drawstring bag with beaded dangling tassel. The drawstring is pulled through lovely black tatted lace. I added the black cotton drawstring cord, which is new and not originally part of the bag. The cord has a 12" drop when pulled tight.
The purse is unlined. It measures approximately 10 1/2" long without the tassel and 14 1/2" with the tassel. The bag is 7 3/4" wide laid flat.
The tatted lace has unraveled in a few areas, and there is some fading of the black color. There have been several repairs made to the interior. There are beads missing sporadically. See photos for details.
