Rare Antique Victorian 1896 William McKinley Presidential political gold bug campaign pin. The gold bug is a brass scarab beetle with a stickpin attached to the backside. The gold bug symbolized McKinley's support for the Gold Standard. His supporters were referred to as “Goldbugs”. Approximate measurements are 1 3/4" L x 1 1/4" W.
