Gorgeous vintage 1960s black snakeskin clutch / shoulder bag by Susan Gail. The black snakeskin is very supple and sparkles beautifully in the light. The strap is attached to the interior, so it can be tucked inside and converted to a clutch. The strap has a long 24" drop and can be worn crossbody. The frame is designed in a half moon shape with a faceted diamond shape snakeskin snap closure. Very reminiscent of Judith Lieber.
The bag is lined in a thick black velvet or velvet-like material with one zip pocket. The purse is signed on a leather tab in the interior, "Made In Spain Susan Gail Genuine Snake Bellido". The clutch / shoulder bag measures approximately 10" L x 6 1/2" H x 1 1/4" W.
The snakeskin purse is in excellent condition.
