A lovely vintage 1950s ivory color beaded evening purse with iridescent sequins handmade in Hong Kong. The purse is exquisitely handcrafted with tiny ivory seed beads hand sewn with iridescent sequins that sparkle beautifully in the light. Approximate measurements are 8" H x 6 1/2" W.
The gold-tone frame is accented along the top with ten round faceted bezel set 10mm clear rhinestones. The interior is lined in ivory satin and has one open slip pocket with an attached flag tag that reads, "Handmade in Hong Kong" in yellow lettering. The frame closes securely with a gold-tone kiss-lock clasp. The gold-tone snail chain handle has a 5 1/2" drop.
The interior shows signs of use and could use a little cleaning. There's a small area that's loose near the top where the purse is attached to the frame. A few random beads have darkened with age, otherwise the purse is in very good vintage condition.
