A lovely circa 1910 - 1920 micro-beaded purse hand made in France. The purse features an Art Nouveau floral motif in pastel blue and pink colors. The blue and pink flower centers are accented with amber beads. The pastel flowers are surrounded with sparkling transparent bugle beads in lovely flowing Art Nouveau curves. The backside features a single pink flower with blue sprouts springing from the sides.
The brass frame has an attached brass scroll chain handle with a 3" drop. The brass frame and chain have developed a dark patina from age. The frame opens and closes by lifting the round white beaded clasp up and down. The interior is lined in ivory satin with one slip pocket. The pocket has an attached embroidered tag that reads, "Hand Made In France". The purse measures approximately 6 3/4" L x 5 1/4" H.
The interior has a small pink spot near the bottom, but otherwise is in very good condition. There are some beads missing sporadically. There is some darkening in the fabric under the beads in a few areas, with the largest area on the bottom. See photos for details.
