Gorgeous Edwardian Era sapphire blue glass beaded reticule or drawstring purse. The reticule features vertical columns of shimmering sapphire blue glass beads on beige or taupe knit.
The drawstring handles are drawn through ten knitted rings accented with tiny blue glass beads. The drawstring handles are trimmed with dangling blue and clear faceted crystal or glass beads. The lining is a gray/purple silk and is in excellent condition.
The bag flares along the bottom to approximately 8" and is 6 1/4" in length. The drawstring handles have approximately a 6 1/2" drop when pulled tight.
One of the dangling blue teardrop beads are missing from the drawstring handles, otherwise all the beads appear to be intact. Overall, the antique reticule is in excellent condition.
