A beautiful vintage carved pink and white shell cameo pendant necklace from around the Art Deco Era or possibly earlier. The cameo is skillfully carved and features a young lady with her hair tied back with ribbons or bows. Her gown is accessorized with a lovely lily corsage.
The cameo is set securely with four prongs into an oval silver frame encircled with silver balls. The frame is unmarked, but it appears to be silver and tarnishes like silver. The chain is hallmarked "Sterling" on the c-clasp closure. I'm not sure if it's the original chain, but it goes nicely with the cameo pendant. The cameo measures approximately 3/4" L x 1/2" W. The frame measures approximately 1" L x 3/4" W. The sterling silver chain is 18".
The cameo pendant is in excellent condition.
