A lovely vintage made in Japan 1950s / 1960s black and gold-tone inlaid Asian motif damascene panel bracelet. The bracelet features eight brass panels inlaid with mixed-metals in different scenes on a contrasting black background.
The bracelet closes securely with a working tongue-and-groove clasp, and has an attached safety chain with a spring ring clasp. The clasp is signed on the underside "Japan". The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long. Each panel measures approximately 3/4" L x 5/8" W.
The spring ring clasp sticks a little, but works fine. A few of the panel edges have wear, but it's not obvious except under magnification. The brass has signs of wear, but otherwise is bright with no fading or corrosion. See photos for details.
